The Ulbster Arms Hotel is seeking a dedicated and motivated Duty Manager to join our team.
We pride ourselves on offering outstanding hospitality in a relaxed yet refined setting. As Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel, bar, and restaurant when on shift
- Lead and support staff across departments during your shifts
- Ensure high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained
- Respond effectively to guest needs and resolve any issues
- Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous hospitality experience is preferred / Supervisory experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills who is able to work well within a team
- A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
- Flexibility to work weekends, mornings, evenings, and varied hours as needed
- Friendly, professional attitude with a passion for guest service
