Head Housekeeper – The Royal Golf Hotel, Dornoch

Salary: £23,499 – 23,500 per year + Benefits
Our hotel in Dornoch is located just a few yards from the first tee at Royal Dornoch Golf Club, and overlooks the beach and Dornoch Firth. A golfers paradise, some might say!
With 22 guest rooms and 12 luxury apartments, we also have one restaurant that creates exciting and seasonally changing dishes with an emphasis on fresh local ingredients. Guests can enjoy speciality gins and the finest whisky’s in our bar and lounge or al fresco in the garden overlooking the links at Royal Dornoch Golf Club.

The Position
The Head Housekeeper will be responsible for managing our team of Housekeepers, ensuring guest bedrooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained providing a high-class standard guest experience.
You will be responsible for various tasks including planning the weekly rota for your team in line with your departmental budget, ensuring your team members are fully trained including the health & safety requirements for cleaning products, managing linen stock and carrying out audits.

You will be self-disciplined, organised and an effective communicator with the confidence and leadership to inspire and motivate a team.
You will be passionate about delivering a high level of cleanliness and standards with experience in a similar role, ideally of one year.
