Hospitality Assistant – Newton Lodge, Lairg

Newton Lodge is a luxury lodge style property in the Northern Highlands and is the most petite member of the Highland Coast Hotels collection. This picturesque lodge hosts guests from near and far exploring this glorious wild part of Scotland on the NC500, who are seeking a wonderful Scottish experience hosted by our very small team.
The lodge is a special place to be, the views are some of the most spectacular in Sutherland looking out over Loch Glen Coul. This high-quality lodge has seven comfortable guest rooms, a cosy bar, and restaurant with breathtaking views.
We are in one of the most remote yet stunning parts of the Scottish Highlands but what we offer is unique. Being located on the world-renowned North Coast 500 there is always a great buzz about the place and great characters to meet. Our locals are regulars in our bar, so you’ll really feel part of the community.
Working at Newton Lodge you have the great outdoors at your feet so you can create your own adventures every single day. That said, your working day can be very busy especially during the summer months, but a great work/life balance is encouraged.
We are recruiting a seasonal Hospitality Assistant on a fixed term contract from May until the end of October, working approximately 30 hours per week.
As a Hospitality Assistant your role will cover various front of house functions; the overall goal is to provide an authentic and welcoming guest experience for the many travellers to Kylesku Hotel.
From welcoming guests checking-in, to serving food and beverages in our bar and restaurant and preparing guest bedrooms – no two days are the same for a Hospitality Assistant.
Live-in accommodation is also available.

We are seeking individuals with a passion to learn and develop within the hospitality industry; experience within a hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
