Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a time-served Bench Joiner to join our team in our busy, workshop in Bower, Caithness.
We manufacture a wide range of timber and composite products for both commercial and domestic clients. We also manufacture a range of timber frame kit homes aimed at the self-build market.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in all aspects of bench joinery including the use of all types of joinery machines.
Ideally, you will have experience in reading workshop drawings to produce various home improvement products accurately and to a high standard. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in product development alongside your workshop colleagues.
Applicants must be motivated, of smart appearance, reliable, possess good communication skills and be prepared to work in a team environment Monday to Friday.
We have a comprehensive benefits package, Workplace Pension Scheme, Work Uniform and our current annual leave is 29 days. Excellent staff discounts are also available. Transport via minibuses from Wick or Thurso may be available.
This is a full time employed role, with good rates of pay dependent on experience. Our contracted standard working hours are 40 hours per week, 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00am – 3.45pm on a Friday.

We also own a purpose-built showroom, sales office and storage facility on the Carse Industrial Estate in Inverness.
We proudly supply products to domestic, retail and trade clients from the Shetland Islands, the Central Belt, Outer Hebrides and Aberdeenshire and everywhere in between!
