Office Manager

At Gow Groundworks, smooth processes and systems are the key to our success. We’re looking for an office manager who has excellent organisational skills and a personable disposition to keep us thriving. The ideal candidate will have a natural flexibility in handling day-to-day routines as well as surprises. The office manager will provide strong, reliable support for operations by creating procedures and communicating them companywide.


  • Oversee day-to-day running of a busy construction office
  • Management of two office staff
  • Dealing with clients via phone, email and face to face
  • Competent with Microsoft software including one drive and Microsoft Teams
  • Ensuring training is kept up to date including booking and applications for renewals etc
  • Meetings – minute taker, distribution
  • Distributing information to employees
  • Oversee the updates for all accreditations and insurances

Required skills and qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in office management
  • Strong time-management and people skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability
  • Ability to delegate workload fairly
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Proficiency with office applications, and aptitude for learning new software and systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
