Are you a skilled Class 1 & 2 HGV driver looking for an exciting opportunity to travel all over the country? Look no further! O’Brien Recycling is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Class 1 & 2 HGV Driver.

About Us: At O’Brien Recycling, we’re committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. We specialise in recycling services and operate all over the UK, including locations such as Leeds, Glasgow, and even the scenic Orkney Islands. Our base/site is situated in Ulbster, Lybster, Caithness. As we continue to expand our operations, we’re looking for talented individuals to join the team.

Position: Part-Time or Full-time Class 1 & 2 HGV Driver Location: Base location, Ulbster in Lybster, Caithness, with travel to other locations across the UK.

           Responsibilities:

  • Daily maintenance checks
  • Maintain driving records
  • Customer relations
  • Driving class 1 and class 2 vehicles
  • May include nights out
  • Varied and interesting jobs all over the country.

          Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 & 2 HGV license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a Class 1 & 2 HGV driver preferred.
  • Ability to travel extensively and spend nights away from home as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
