Hours: This is a permanent role which can be on a full time or part time basis.

The Role

This new role has been created due to our continued growth specifically in the north as we prepare for the opening of our next property at Hope. Located in the picturesque village of Tongue, in beautiful Sutherland, it offers a stunning work environment and a great opportunity to be part of an ambitious Company at an exciting time

Key Duties

  • Partner with the local management teams, leading and being an advocate of our People First – One Wildland Team ambition.
  • Responsible for ensuring the employee journey, from first touch point through to arrival and departures, emulates the quality of delivery we provide our guests.
  • Deliver advice across the general sphere of people activities and ideally bring specific experience in Learning & Development, Culture & Belonging and Employee Wellness.
  • Support the wider People Team and Managers in the Cairngorm & Aldourie Estates.
  • Act as an advocate for our people as well as supporting our managers, whether in hospitality or regeneration, to lead their people to deliver.
  • Play a key role engaging with our communities and neighbours, building relationships and ensuring our impact is positive, well managed and proactively communicated

Who you are

  • You share in our passion, vision and values.
  • You are capable of delivering within a creative entrepreneurial environment, where systems and processes need to enable and empower.
  • You are a high performer, committed to delivery and a change agent.
  • Strong HR generalist experience with an interest in, and some experience of, the L&D sphere
  • CIPD Certification ideal and not essential provided you have a proven track record in the HR sphere.
  • Professional, proactive and approachable.
  • Demonstrates discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential material and possess good business judgment.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A driving licence and confidence in driving is essential given the need to travel in all seasons to our different locations, some of which are remote.
