Project Manager – Gow’s Lybster 


Gow’s Lybster Limited is looking to engage the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Project Manager to join our workforce to support our Management Team in the delivery of our increasing portfolio of contracts that are to be delivered to serval Clients across the UK.

The Role:

As a key member of the Management Team, you will:

  • Meet with management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
  • Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising plans based on changing needs and requirements
  • Produce all necessary paperwork and documents that are required to facilitate the commencement of activities prior to and after contract award and to enable site mobilisation
  • Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of staff members
  • Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
  • Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders
  • Tracking project performance
  • Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
  • Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communications skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders

The Person:

  • It is essential that you have project management experience with the ability to build strong relationships with our Clients, Supply Chain and other key stakeholders  
  • You should have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, preferably at degree level
  • You should have experience of the nuclear sector although experience in other regulated industries will be considered
  • Working knowledge of the NEC Form of Contracts is desirable
  • Good IT and communication skills


  • £48,000 + Depending on Experience
