Mission
This role will provide advice, guidance and information concerning quality, health, safety and environmental issues, existing and proposed legislation, codes of practice and industry standards.
Challenges
As QHSE Advisor you will be responsible for:
- Conducting risk assessments
- Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
- Providing training and guidance on QHSE matters to staff.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Developing and implementing QHSE policies and procedures.
- Reporting on QHSE performance and suggesting improvements.
- Provide support to ensure that non-conformances, defects and deficiencies relating to QHSE matters are reported, and that corrective action is taken to prevent recurrences.
- Carry out internal and external quality audits to ISO9001:2015
Essential Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Auditing qualification
Desirable Skills and experience
- Relevant experience in a QHSE role, preferably within manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and audits.
- Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Location
Wick – UK but may require occasional visits to suppliers and our Aberdeen site.
Reports to: Wick Site Manager and Operations Manager (UK).
