Bayview Day Centre for Older Adults is looking for a Social Care Worker to join their team.  The post is responsible for leading a team to support vulnerable adults in a day centre setting including outreach.

You will contribute to the daily activities of people attending and work in a person centred way which promotes quality of life and maximises independence for all service users.

You must have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. 

In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, candidates should be able to provide evidence of a good basic education, good written communication and report writing skills.

Applicants should have experience in working with people in a care setting. A minimum of a SVQ 2 in Social Care or equivalent and a commitment to achieve SVQ3 in Social Care and have, or be prepared to undertake, Administration of Medication training.

All training will be provided by NHS Highland.

This is a permanent part-time post of 16.8 hours per week to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
